UTM.io Account Executive / Customer Growth Consultant

Remote
Part Time
Mid Level

Overview

UTM.io helps enterprise marketing teams get rid of messy spreadsheets by standardizing UTM naming conventions, improving tracking, and enabling accurate attribution.

We're looking for a client-facing Customer Growth Consultant to lead product demos, and proactively grow existing accounts by identifying upsell opportunities.

This role is distinct from our Senior Analytics Manager, who owns hands-on onboarding, account configuration, and deep technical/analytics enablement. This person's focus is demos, growth, and relationship building, consulting the Senior Analytics Manager whenever a client need goes deep on technical or analytics detail.

Mission of Role

To drive account growth, and client retention by leading demos, proactively identifying and pitching upsell opportunities that are genuinely useful to the client (never hard-selling), and nurturing the client relationship throughout its lifecycle, looping in the Senior Analytics Manager for technical or deep-analytics needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage product demos for prospects and existing customers, clearly explaining UTM.io's value, naming conventions, and attribution capabilities.
  • Proactively identify and pursue upsell opportunities with existing users and prospects, advising only what is genuinely useful and helpful to the client, never hard-selling.
  • Assist with ongoing client relationships to drive retention: checking in, nurturing engagement, and assisting with renewal outcomes, including when a client is at risk of churning.
  • Understand UTM.io's methodology, naming conventions, and attribution capabilities (including GA4) well enough to speak to them confidently and sell the product's value in demos and conversations.
    • Deep, hands-on analytics/attribution expertise is not required. Consult the Senior Analytics Manager whenever a client's question or need goes beyond that working knowledge.
  • Hand off closed deals and upsells cleanly to the Senior Analytics Manager for onboarding and account configuration, including clear notes on client goals, use cases discussed, and any expectations set during the sales process.
  • Actively gather and synthesize customer feedback, surfacing product pain points, feature requests, and usability insights to the Product and Engineering teams.
  • Proactively signal ideas to the Marketing team, especially when noticing an opportunity to better reach prospects or existing clients, to help drive increased demo bookings and/or upsells.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the Senior Analytics Manager, Sales, and Product to support client expansion, renewals, and a smooth sales-to-onboarding handoff.
  • Stay current with analytics, attribution, and MarTech trends at a working level, enough to speak credibly in demos and client conversations.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven success in customer-facing growth, account management, or consulting roles, including owning renewal/retention outcomes.
  • Working knowledge of UTM naming conventions and UTM strategy for B2B or enterprise clients: enough to explain value and answer prospect questions confidently, not deep technical expertise.
  • Comfortable discussing marketing attribution concepts, including GA4, at a working level, and knowing when to loop in technical support.
  • Confident leading client-facing demo sessions and handling questions or objections.
  • A consultative, relationship-first approach to identifying upsell opportunities: comfortable pitching value, uncomfortable with hard-selling.
  • Strong relationship-management instincts: proactive about staying close to clients and catching churn risk early.
  • Strong handoff and collaboration discipline: able to document context cleanly and know when to escalate to the Senior Analytics Manager.
  • Highly autonomous and organized.
  • Comfortable synthesizing customer feedback into actionable product insights.

Preferred Experience With

  • GA4, Google Tag Manager, and other analytics tools (working familiarity, not deep expertise)
  • Business intelligence platforms (e.g., Looker, Power BI, Tableau)
  • Hubspot and CRM-driven sales or attribution workflows
  • UTM.io (helpful but not required; we'll train the right person)

Engagement Details

  • Part-time to start: 15-30 hours per week
  • Fully remote
  • Opportunity to expand to a full-time role in the near future, contingent on company growth and performance
  • Compensation: $25–$40/hour
  • Flexible hours
  • Must be available for client meetings across U.S. time zones, specifically focused on East Coast hours to partially cover EMEA-based prospects/clients
